Ancestral Skills, Primitive Technology
The human hand has effectively, hand powered, mankind into the position the species occupies
on earth today.
Teaching and practicing the ancestral skills reflected in the primitive technologies associated
with; bots and arrows, atlatal, slings, blowguns, shuriken, knives, crossbows, tomahawks,
chackra, spears, casting nets and similar pieces of equipment is the primary focus of
Hand Powered Ltd. Indoor, outdoor and distance target ranges are complimented by themed
field courses, hunting and survival programs. Not limited by either age or gender these
activities cater for individuals or groups, entertaining, educating and team building.
Workshops oriented towards learning and practicing primitive technologies, with a focus
on Traditional Archery, are organized both on site and at arranged locations.
An annual calendar of events is organized where the public are invited to participate
in exercising these skills.
Activities are complimented with food served on the go, relaxing by the river or around
the campfire.
